Feminine White Cream Thailand Review
by
Lin Sy
- 8:21:00 PM
Good morning Lovelins!!!! It is morning right now while I'm making this blog post. So if you are reading this post right now, maybe you are planning to buy or already bought one of this cream. Thailand has its reputation when it comes to beauty products and I can say that they have lots and lots of it. Again, I bought Thailand products because at first I was planning to sell them but my parents prohibited me since the products are not written in English that is why I end up using them, I even give some to my relatives for them to try. So I present to you this feminine white cream from Thailand also known as femwhite cream :)
Ingredients: Since it is not written in english I can't list what is the content of this product
How much I bought it: I bought it for 45 pesos each from Asian Vanity Shop
The product promises: It can whiten the dark areas of your body especially the inguinal part or the bikini lines. Results can be observed as early as 3-5days
How many times I used it: I normally use this once a day after bathing. Used this for more than a month to see its efficacy.
How do I use it: I scoop an ample amount of product and apply it liberally to the part I want to whiten.
Pros:
- It smells like sampaguita, the odor is not that strong.
- It does whiten a bit but not that much. So don't expect too much :)
- it is creamy yet it is not so sticky.
Cons:
- language barrier, funny story my mom use it on her face since she can't read what was written on it lol XD
- 45 pesos is a bit much for a very small cream.
- the product is a shiny green cream which stains my fingers and of course my undies but at least it is washable :)
- so it didn't fulfilled its promise to whiten as early as 3-5 days, I notice some changes after 3 weeks of applying.
Verdict: My rate for this product is 2.5/5. Its not as good as what has been circulating in online stores but it is not that bad as well. I'm just finishing up those I bought but I'm not planning to buy again :)
Recommendations: Don't expect too much because you'll end up hurting yourself (HUGOT haha XD) It requires long period of time to see the effects on topical products so if you wish to achieve the desired results, use the product faithfully :)
Thank you again Lovelins for dropping by, always make yourself comfortable in my little own world :)
Listen up.

In my previous posts, I already said that I was taking some educational
units in order me to teach. So we have this approach in which the students are
the ones who will report the topics given. I was not so excited about it
because I know I am not good at public speaking, but still I am looking forward in to it. I
want to impart my knowledge to them.
The day before I reported, I geared up everything. From the
handout, PowerPoint presentation, the way on how I will explain it to them.
Everything was all set. I also prepared myself and so the day has come.
I reported my topic the way i usually report on a normal
setting. I just said what is on my slides and elaborate some of it. But then I
noticed not no one was listening. They are just chatting with one another. I
don't know what to do. It hurts a lot in my part because I know that I spend a
lot of time to prepare and I put my effort on doing that report but they don't seem
to care about that.
Realization occurs after I reported, nobody is listening
because I don't make them listen. I don't smile and I was so stiff delivering
my topic. I don't let them participate,
because I don't ask them. And my friends told me that my voice isn't so loud.
I admit I'm like anybody else, I do random stuff when the speaker
is so boring. I keep on fidgeting or doodling anything. But I realized
that when you are the one who is speaking and nobody is listening, its
like they are doing what I do to them sometimes.
So this is the life of a teacher. It was not an easy job. I
was still trying to learn and understand how to be a teacher and how to be a
good one. This track I am into right now and I must say, it is just a long long way to run.
Melancholy of a Wanderer

I was
in my proper years in my dentistry by that time. Then grains of my tears started
to fall. I don't know how can I handle a sudden twist in my life. What I am afraid for is leaving my friends
behind. And what will I become to the new environment I will be.
When I got there I lived in a dorm with beautiful ladies.
The first year of my stay was good. You know a lot of things can happen. In my
second year was my roller coaster year.
It's like I take the way to the back streets. That year I met someone
who becomes my world now. But things wouldn't be as smooth as an ice. I earn my
bachelor of science major in biology, a preparatory course for Medicine.
There's this National medical admission test in which I fail to pass. I admit
that I failed to prepare properly for the exams so I also failed to proceed to
my proper years in medicine. When I graduated I got separated with him. Well
that's life.
In the province, I worked as a pharmacy assistant. It was
really hard especially when you set your mind onto something. It's hard how to change
the the way you live your life you have used to. It was very difficult for me
to adjust. I study how to live my life. Because seriously I don't even know how.
I thought I was going to be a doctor. But in just one failure everything is
taken back away from you.
A year had passed after I graduated. Someone told me that my
parents were planning to send me to school again. I have that drop of hope that
they will enroll me again in dentistry since it is cheaper than medicine. Then
one day, my mother called to the phone and ask me if I want to teach. I was
like "what? ", but I told them that what ever the decision will be,
it's fine with me. But of course it is the other way around. I always told my parents that I will never
ever want to teach. Shaking my head is an automatic answer when someone ask me
if I can teach. But look, that is where my road is leading me for now. You
really don't know how life will play you right? It is very ironic. But I always
look at the brighter side. I'm just enjoying what is serve in my face right now.
There are late nights when I feel like I reach nothing. I
feel like they will laugh at me because i will end up teaching and not as a
dentist or as a doctor. So I hid from everyone. I deactivated my social media accounts
and text no one. Its like I live under a rock and no one notice my absence because
I am forgotten.
One day my mother told me to get some supplies from our
supplier. When I got there, there's a clique of dentistry students. I looked at
them with envy. Because I want to be also like them but I am here, with nothing,
can't do anything to support myself.
I
really don't know when this road I'm walking is leading me.
But in the back of my head there is my burning desire to become a
dentist
because that's what I want to be. At the end of the day, it is my life.
Its my "life"not theirs. That is the thought I am holding onto. No
matter what will happen
it is in my hand how to achieve my dream. Maybe it's not my time yet, I just hope to reach my dreams soon :)

- 1:26:00 AM
How much I bought it: I bought the cream for 45 pesos from Asian Vanity Shop
The product promises: to lighten all the dark areas of your skin, it can be used as deodorant
How many times I used it: I used it once a day as part of my daily skin care routine.
How do I use it: I get an ample amount of the product and apply it in my dark areas such as the armpit, knee, elbow and bikini lines.
Pros:
- it has a mango fruity scent. That's all, its the only pros I can tell about this product. Get ready for the cons lol XD
Cons:
- what makes me hate it is it darkens my underarms, well my underarms are not that dark though but yeah its just sad.
- the product came to me half filled. My money comes to waste for this product.
- it is very sticky and hard to apply, it stains my finger especially my shirt. It makes me sweat even more.
- the product only last up for less than a week.
- 45 pesos is not worth for the cream.
Verdict: I rate this cream 1/5 :( . My experience from this product is just sad. I've been reading a lot of good feed backs about it but the result really depends on the response of the body and mine's not good.
Recommendations: Stop using any product immediately if you see any signs of adverse effect on you.
Tofu Soap Review
by
Lin Sy
- 12:31:00 AM
Hi Lovelins!! I still have a lot of Thailand products to review so here is another one. So one of my favorite drink, beverage or dessert (where ever category it falls XD) is taho. Yes, its one of Filipino's yummy beverage. Taho is made from tofu.Tofu is actually coagulated soy milk which is widely use in culinary especially in East Asian and Southeast Asian country. But in Japan, tofu is also used in cosmetics. This review is all about tofu soap which the raw tofu is imported in Japan and manufactured in Thailand.
Ingredients: Due language barrier, I cannot understand what is written in the box but since it is called tofu soap I assumed that one of the chief ingredient is tofu :3 According to my research, it is also infused with Vitamin E which is really really good for the skin :)
How much I bought it: I bought it for 45 pesos from Asian Vanity Shop
The product promises: can lighten dark spots, tightens pores, helps rejuvenate new skin cells, non drying
How many times I used it: I used it in my face only day and night.
How do I use it: I wet the soap with water to lather and I gently scrub my face in a circular motion. I used it together with tofu pore scrub.
Pros:
- The packaging is nice, the soap is individually wrapped inside the box
- I very much love the smell, it smells like vanilla or yogurt, its like I wanna bite it lol XD
- It is mild soap, best for acne prone skin.
- As it promises, it is non drying.
- It gives a botox affect after wash, it feels like the skin is being lifted. My skin becomes shiny too!
- It dries my pimples and reduces break outs.
- The soap does not melts easily. Mine lasts for more than a month since I only used it for my face.
- Affordable.
Cons:
- You can only buy this on an online shop.
- Does not really lighten my dark spots.
- As for minimizing my pores, it didn't do the job.
Verdict: I rate tofu soap 4/5. I like it so much that I still use it up until now. Definitely will buy again :)
Recommendations: Always apply moisturizer to the skin after washing with soap.

- 11:45:00 PM
Hi Lovelins!!! So my week has been rough. I always want to update my blog site but I've been very busy. Whenever I find some time, that's when I make my reviews :) So here I am again :) This time I will be reviewing tofu pore scrub version 2. This scrub is formulated to remove whiteheads and blackheads and shrinking your pores as well. From the name itself, its main ingredient is tofu. The reason why we use facial scrub is to exfoliate dead skin cells and to help our skin regenerate. Here comes my review :)
Ingredients: Jo tofu extract, grape seed oil, Aloe Vera, jojoba oil, glutathione, kojic acid, zinc oxide, scrub jelly, vitamin b3, aqua
How much I bought it: I bought for 70 pesos from Asian Vanity Shop.
The product promises: Treatment for face & body acne, blackheads and whiteheads, tighten pores, fight skin discoloration such as age spots & sun spots, helps improve and lighten dark spots & blemishes, helps nourish and purify skin, helps hydrate dry skin.
How many times I used it: I used it once a day at night.
How do I use it: I squeezed a pea size on my fingers and gently scrub my face, especially in the nose area, in circular motion, I let it stay for a minute and wash away with water. I used it together with tofu soap.
Pros:
- The packaging is very cute as usual.
- I like the watery consistency, it is very mild to the skin and it does not sting.
- It moisturize my skin after washing since it is not drying compared to other scrubs.
- I also like the mild scent.
- The little bottle goes a long way, it can last up to three weeks
- It is cheap and affordable.
- Reduces break outs.
Cons:
- You can only buy these from an online shop. The shipping fee may cause you a lot, especially when you are in a province just like me.
- It didn't remove my black heads and white heads.
- It didn't minimize my pores.
Verdict: I really like this product so I rate this 4/5 yey!! :3 It is very mild as I said and what I really love about it is it is non-drying. It is best for sensitive and dry skin :) I will definitely buy this again.
Recommendations: Exfoliate at least 2-3 times a week to remove dead skin cells and to help other products to be absorb by the skin.
Something Borrowed

- 8:15:00 PM
I was in my third year college, when I transferred school. I stayed in a dorm full of wonderful ladies. The year was fine, I get along with them so well. But again, maybe it just can't be helped, sometimes you will come across to a rough road. So back to my story, I was working on my thesis and I badly needed a laptop and the essential internet. Since my roommate have both of it I borrowed it for a while. I also don't have flat iron back then, I know I don't have a lot of thing I really need but I can't do anything but still, to borrow.
I used to borrow things I need because I thought it was fine since I don't usually borrow it, I just borrow it when I need it. I also remember texting my roommate early in the morning because she was still asleep, and I used her iron to flattened my uniform because my class is seven in the morning. Then one night she opened up to all of us. She talk to us generally but I know that she was pertaining to me. She said that it was unfair for her because it was her things that we used and her parents were paying for it while the others just borrow it. She also said that it was not right to used something asking permission in a text because she was still asleep and lastly she said that she can't use her things because others were using it.
After that meeting one of my roommates talk to me laughing and saying that it was all for me. Of course I know that, I'm hurt but I know that she has the right to feel that way. I remained the same to her, I talk to my roommate casually and the way we used to. I don't want her to feel that there's a gap between us. Even if I needed things I borrow it from other people and not to her anymore. I just don't want to feel that feeling again. That feeling that you pitied yourself because you don't have the things you need and end up borrowing. Maybe she felt I was abusive. That's what I think.
It was two years ago, so I still have that trauma of borrowing things. I was now in our province and I'm taking educational units. I am currently unemployed so I don't have the money to buy a new pair of shoes or a back pack. And so again that moment was repeated, that feeling I don't want to feel again. I was about to wear my sister's shoes because I will go to school when my mother interrupted me and ask me why do I keep on borrowing my sister's things. I end up not using it.
I choose to borrow rather than to ask them money for me to buy myself a new one because I don't want to cause them trouble. It's not that I always want to use things that were not mine, who would love borrowing anyway? But there will always be a moment that you will need to borrow something right? There are things that other people don't understand. They just keep on jumping into conclusions and judging you the way they see things. If it's unfair to them, don't they think I felt the same way. Completely hilarious.
I know that I have nothing for now, but I know it will not be forever. The thing is, I wont let those events in my life to change who I am. I just don't want to pity myself for having nothing. That feeling sucks. I feel like the world is run by money or material things that if you don't have that you are a nobody, that you are worthless.
I am just glad that I stumble upon into making a blog site. Because it serves as my diary, my diversion, my own little world where I can be the master and express my side here and my resentments. I just hope to see a rainbow soon :)
Bestfriends Furr-ever!

- 5:48:00 AM
I still clearly remember that day, it was in November 2011, at about 6 am in the morning. I knocked at the door to tell my mom the bad news. There was no answer, I knew that she already knew what happened and she's there at the other side of the door, silently weeping and mourning. She knew that Cheenie was already dead. Cheenie is our pet, a black dachshund who has been my mother's beloved dog. After an hour of gaining her strength, my mom went out of their bedroom, together with her favorite pink towel. She went outside where Cheenie's body lay and gently wrapped its lifeless body. We broke into tears. We buried her little body in our backyard.
Time had passed and they came one by one. New dogs entered our home. First was Pandoy, a black and white Aspin, he is the smartest of them all. He is the one who guarded the house and he instantly barks whenever he hears something.
Next is Beagle, a crossbreed of pug and beagle. Beagle on the other hand is the protector, he is so thoughtful, he is the peace maker of our dogs. He is the sleepyhead baby.
Then came Tommy, our mini schnauzer, he is the sweetest of them all, he is always there tailing me wherever I go. He always woke me up with his morning kisses.
And lastly Negra the pug, the youngest of them all, and since she is still a puppy, she is the destroyer, the litterer. (Don't blame me for the names, it was my mom's choice XD)
Next is Beagle, a crossbreed of pug and beagle. Beagle on the other hand is the protector, he is so thoughtful, he is the peace maker of our dogs. He is the sleepyhead baby.

They are our dogs. For the past years of their existence, they put colors to my life and make me change the way I see friendship. These dogs had been my companion. They always make me laugh, warm me with their bodies when it's cold, dissolves my stress away. They are my diversion. At hard times when I feel like I am lost, I talk to them, they are just there listening as I cried down, they never judge nor leave me. They never complain. They offer their little bodies to be hug giving the comfort I need. They might be a major headache but reminiscing those moments now makes me laugh. Even though they torn my precious project, divided my charger into two, send my undies in the front yard, stole our viand, chomp my favorite slippers and shoes, make my stuffed toy go blind and many more, despite of the mess they may bring to our house, I love them :)
In this world, I am just a raindrop in these flood of people. I am just an ordinary girl, a nobody. But behind those big brown eyes of them, I am a somebody, I am someone special because in their eyes we mean the world to them. The four corners of our house is not only their playground, but to them it is their paradise. They gave me a reason to come home early because I know they are eagerly waiting for my return, that they are so excited to see me and play with me.
They are my best friends, my extended brothers and sister, my family. They offer to us a kind of friendship that is generous, pure and sincere. Friends who will never leave especially in times of hardships and despair. They are the kind of friends who are true, loyal and faithful. They loved us unconditionally, without expecting us any return. That is why I want to treat them as special as they treated me. I will endlessly love their kisses, the way they flap their ears, the way they lick their noses and how they put an effort to wag their tails. No matter what happens, the kind of friendship we share will be FURR-EVER engraved, deeply in my heart :3

" The only permanent in this world is change" A saying that is always applied in my life. I am just a simple girl living a simple life. When I was a child I always dreamed of a better life, well that's the best part of being a kid. You don't really know the meaning of the word "problem". But things went out differently as I grow up. I realized that it's not the life I was expecting, That this world is full of struggles and competition. It is hard how you set up your figure in this society we live. How to be respected by other people. And how you will shine differently to this world.
When I was in college, one of my professor let us watch Mahatma Gandhi's life then my whole point of view has change. Ever since I was a child, you can classify me as one of the weaklings. I don't know how defend my self or exchange spicy words with other people. I am someone who will be left speechless. I just let it inside myself. I put my feelings inside a jar and close it. There was a point in my life that my heart was stoned by all of those hurting words, that no word can wound me anymore for I am already numb. Yes this is the real world we are living. It is just like a moon, there will always be a dark side of it.
But despite all of it, even now that I am older I still don't know how to fight back. I've realized that revenge will take me nowhere. If I fight back and I saw them hurt, will it make me happy? Does it make me successful? It just don't make sense to me. What I do is ignore all of the bad things they do to me, and still show them kindness and smile to them. When I am angry, I don't let it burst out because I know I might say something very hurtful and can't undo it. Patience is a virtue. I always tell myself that my patience should be a circle, so that it will never end. Love can change people. I know that if I show them some love and kindness, time will come that they will realize what they have done to me and they will remember me not for being bad. I know that there is no permanent in this world that's why I don't want to regret things that I haven't done when I still have the chance and the opportunity. I want to show my love to the people around me, spend some time with them and cherish every moment.
I am still in the progress of creating a better version of me. People change and so am I. While I am still sojourning in this world, I know I will encounter many adversities and strife. I may be hurt again, be lost or be left by people whom I thought will stay with me. But this is my journey, this is my life. It is in my hand how I will make a rainbow out of it and how I will make it bloom. I will never forget to take with me a lot of patience, smile and love to share.
I know as time passed by, our preferences may change. The way we look, what we like or what we want, the way we prioritize things. But I always leave a room for improvement. How I make my self a better person. I realize that in order for us to love unconditionally, is not expecting something in return. That it is better to give than to receive or to love than to be loved. It is never too late to make a change, it is better than to be sorry. Do not be afraid to make a mistake in your decision, because it will be your teacher. And lastly, as Mahatma Gandhi said, you must be the change you wish to see in the world.
Gluta Pure Soap Review
by
Lin Sy
- 7:08:00 PM
Welcome back lovelins!! :) Asians especially Filipinos are well known for fair complexion or "morena" skin. It is not new for us Filipinos that many of us aspire to have whiter skin. I admit, I am one of them :3 One of the famous skin whitener is glutathione. Since glutathione is well known in the market because of its property to lighten the skin, I found this soap named Gluta pure soap. It has also lotion made by wink white. You can check out my review about it, just click here :) Thailand beauty products are booming in online stores and I was amused by the number of great feedbacks about those products that's why I gave it a shot.
Ingredients : Coconut oil, Rice bran oil, Sunflower oil, Glutathione, milk, vitamin E, vitamin B3, vitamin C, perfume
How much I bought it: I bought it at thaiph for 65 each.
The product promises: whiten your skin and has spf 50. It contains an ingredient that removes dead skin cells, leaving deep cleansing formula that result to a purely white and glowing skin as possible.
How many times I used it: I use this product twice a day. Day and night.
How long does it last: if you use it day and night the soap will last for about a week a half. But if you use it only once, it can last for 2 weeks or more.
How do i use it: I wash the soap first with water. Using a towel, i scrub some of the soap then I used the towel to scrub my skin. I let the lather sit on my skin for about 5-10 minutes to let my skin to absorb it. I brush my teeth and wash my face while waiting. Then i wash the soap away with water.
Pros:
• the packaging is neat and nice. The soap is packed separately with a plastic.
• what i love about this soap is the smell. Unlike other glutathione soap, it does not smell like an acid. It smells like a vanilla.
• it does not sting. It is mild to the skin. This soap is infused with goat milk that's why it doesn't dry your skin.
• it peels your skin. My dead skin cells were shed off.
• it has spf 50 which can eventually protect your skin from sun damage.
Cons:
• it is somehow pricey. It is just a small soap. And you can only buy this through online shopping. Plus you'll shoulder the shipping fee.
• it takes longer time to see the whitening to effect.
• it melts easily but not as fast as kojic soaps.
Verdict: i will rate this 4/5. I really like this soap :)
Recommendations: to achieve whiter skin, use the soap for a longer period of time. You can partner it with its lotion. Avoid prolong exposure to sun to avoid skin darkening.

"Alarm rings. Wake up. Take a bath. Get ready for work. Stuck in traffic. Work. Eat. Overtime. Stuck in traffic again. Eat. Sleep". Is this your everyday work life? Do you deal with so much hassle and stress? Got screwed by your boss, lots of paper works, heart breaking-tear falling deadlines. What else can you do to endure all of these and enjoy it the way you dream your life when you were a kid? So here are my 11 life changing hacks to make work life much more easier :)
1. Early Riser. Why do elderlies woke up so early? They even wake up earlier than the neighborhoods' rooster. If you keep on hitting the snooze or keep chanting to your self " five more minutes", you can ask them to wake you up. Another technique I use is setting my alarm thrice or more, example is: 4:30, 4:35, 4:40, 4:45. This will definitely wake you up, because it will cut your lovely, amazing dream. If you wake up early, you can have your time to do your morning rituals and time to stare at the table :3
2. Pray. As a christian, we put God as the center of our life so, under any circumstances, happiness and difficulties, we always entrust it to God. It is a great feeling to know that someone is looking over you, protecting you from all harms and guiding you in your everyday life. So no matter what happens, do not forget to simply close your eyes and utter your little prayers to Him. Always remember, Prayer works!
3. Eat breakfast. Many people are skipping breakfast but they do not know it is the most important meal of the day. Breakfasts starts your metabolism, it helps you control your weight, gives energy and focus. If you don't like eating heavy meals at morning, you can choose to have crackers or cereals, just make sure you have the fuel to start your day!
4. Magic Mirror exercise. Everyday as we groom and make ourselves beautiful, we look into a mirror. One way of boosting your confidence is by talking to your self in a mirror. Encourage yourself by saying " I can do this" , " This will be a great and wonderful day". This will bring out a good mood and more relaxed, stressed free you :) Do this every morning to let the good vibes come in.
5. Smile. Do you know that it only takes 17 muscles used when you smile and 43 when you frown? Who do you think is more approachable? Are you on the grumpy side? I'd rather choose the sunny side :) Smiling generates happy spirit and it makes you more younger. Smiles create friends and warm hearts so let those muscles flex to the sides of your mouth :)
6. Avoid procrastinating. Do you have the habit of delaying or postponing things that you should be doing?Everybody is a victim of procrastination, but when laziness and procrastination hits you hard, "oh no! bye bye deadlines :( be ready to get screwed" To fix the problem, make a time table or checklist to ensure you will not overlook your due dates so you can pass it on time :) You'll definitely get a two thumbs up from your boss. Get ready to be promoted yey!!!

Also plan your activities ahead and learn how to prioritize. Do you need to do this first or that? Being organized saves you from a lot of headaches :)
8. Get a good night sleep. It is not new for us that the required hours of sleep is 8 hours. Sleeping is the way for your body to recharge. Having a good night sleep helps you gain more focus when working than a sleepy head. It will also brighten up your mood and more energy for the day.
9. Exercise. Exercise helps you gain stronger and healthier body. Exercise is a form of discipline you imply to yourself. Engage yourself to sports, dancing or any form of activity where you can stretch those muscle of yours. You can brisk walk in the morning if you don't want those abs forming exercise. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
10. Leisure. One great way to enjoy your work life is by taking yourself into a vacation. Learn how to treat yourself. Detoxify yourself from the toxicity of stress by having a rest. You can go out to mall, parlors, or watch movies. Save money you can spend with your loved ones.

So in order to protect yourself from those diseases, you shouldn't forget to take your vitamins. Vitamin C helps boosting your immune system, a powerful oxidant and makes your skin even.
